Jakarta, May 4 -- Indonesia and Norway have forged an agreement to deepen environmental diplomacy and actively cooperate on mitigating climate change, preserving nature, and advancing sustainable development.
According to a statement released by the Environment Ministry in Jakarta on Sunday, Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq and Norway's Minister of Climate and Environment, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) during a working visit to Oslo.
"Strengthening the implementation of carbon economic values is vital for Indonesia to achieve its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets," Nurofiq stated.
