Jakarta, Oct. 19 -- Indonesia's commitment to revitalizing transmigration areas represents a tangible step toward achieving economic equity rooted in local potential, a minister has said.
"Through the revitalization of various transmigration areas, we hope to foster economic development in these regions," Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) stated said during the Ministry of Transmigration's 24-Hour Open House on Saturday.
According to AHY, the revitalization initiative aims to enhance community productivity, thereby driving economic growth in transmigration zones.
