Jakarta, March 4 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, said here on Tuesday that investing in research and innovation is crucial for Indonesia to achieve the status of a developed and prosperous nation.

"Becoming a developed country can only happen with well-prepared, high-quality human resources and strong research and innovation to promote industrial growth in Indonesia," he added.

He made the remarks at the launch of the research and community service program for 2025.

Applications for the competitive funding program will open from March 10 to April 7, 2025. Research proposals can be submitted via the Research and Community Service Information System (BIMA) platform.
