Jakarta, May 4 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung emphasized the vital role of religious harmony in the city's transformation into a global hub.

Speaking in Jakarta on Sunday, Anung highlighted the city's diversity in identity, ethnicity, and culture, stressing the need for residents to collectively cultivate an atmosphere that embraces religious pluralism.

"This inclusivity is key to our global city vision. Jakarta must be a welcoming host for people of all faiths, a principle we must consistently uphold together," he stated.

His remarks came during visits to various religious events across Jakarta, including the inauguration of the Jakarta Garden City (JGC) Mosque in Cakung.
