Jakarta, July 14 -- Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tomsi Tohir called on regional heads to thoroughly evaluate inflation control efforts in their respective regions.

"I urged regional heads to check whether the relevant offices are making the efforts," Tohir remarked at the coordination meeting on regional inflation control in Jakarta on Monday.

The ministry's secretary general underlined that inflation control requires a planned and collaborative strategy and cannot rely solely on conventional work patterns.
