Tangerang, June 28 -- National carrier Garuda Indonesia has resumed its Jakarta-Doha flight service after Qatar's airspace reopened, following recent conflict escalation in the Middle East.

The round-trip route, which resumed on Saturday (June 28), is the result of a comprehensive assessment and close coordination between Garuda Indonesia and its operational partner, Qatar Airways, Garuda Indonesia's Director of Operations, Tumpal M. Hutapea, noted in a written statement received in Tangerang on Saturday.

"This decision is supported by information from the relevant international authorities. It also reflects the improving geopolitical conditions in the Middle Eastern airspace," Hutapea stated.
