Karawang, June 23 -- PT Pupuk Kujang's research team has set up mass demonstration plots (demplots) of its locally developed NPK Nitrat fertilizer in several key regions known for red onion and chili production.

"NPK Nitrat is a fertilizer with a high content of nitrate-based nitrogen. This type of fertilizer offers numerous advantages," Rangga, a member of Pupuk Kujang's research team, said in a statement issued in Karawang, West Java, on Monday.

The fertilizer has a 15-13-18 nutrient composition, with 5 percent nitrate nitrogen (N-NO3) content, and is enriched with essential micronutrients. It is available in green-colored granules, packed in 20-kilogram and 2-kilogram bags.
