Jakarta, May 13 -- The House of Representatives (DPR) has announced that the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) will result in the Jakarta Declaration.

"The outcome of this PUIC will be what we call the Jakarta Declaration," Chair of the DPR Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP), Mardani Ali Sera, stated during the 19th PUIC Conference at the parliamentary complex here on Tuesday.

However, he noted that some parties have proposed naming the joint declaration of the OIC member parliaments the "Senayan Declaration" since the conference is being held at the parliament building in Jakarta.
