Jakarta, May 13 -- The Indonesian parliament offered to mediate peace talks between countries that are currently engaged in conflict at the ongoing 19th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) Conference.

This was conveyed by chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) of the House of Representatives (DPR), Mardani Ali Sera, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

At the 19th PUIC Conference, Indonesia sought to mediate not just the Israel-Palestine dispute, but also the conflicts between India and Pakistan, as well as Russia and Ukraine.

"Then, between our (OIC) countries, there are the sub-Saharan and others; there are disputes," Mardani noted.
