Jakarta, July 1 -- Chief of the National Police ( Polri ), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has said that public criticism and suggestions motivate the National Police to grow and improve.

Speaking at the 79th National Police Day commemoration at the National Monument ( Monas ) in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, General Prabowo said that Polri is not yet perfect, and therefore, he understands the public's inputs for the institution.

He added that criticism and feedback from the people push Polri to grow and carry out improvements.

"We are committed to the belief that every piece of public feedback is a form of support for us to continue growing, adapting, and implementing continuous improvements," he said.
