Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin announced that Indonesia's state-owned defense company PT Pindad will collaborate with Rheinmetall, a defense manufacturer from Germany and South Africa, to develop ammunition technology.
The agreement was conveyed after Sjafrie met with South African Defense Minister Matsie Angelina Motshekga at the Ministry of Defense office here on Wednesday (October 22).
He emphasized that the collaboration is part of efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and military cooperation between the two countries.
