Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- Indonesia's Foreign Ministry said Peruvian authorities are making progress in the investigation into the killing of an Indonesian embassy staff member in Lima earlier this week.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela stated that the Indonesian embassy is coordinating intensively with the local police, carrying out the investigation to unravel the motive and suspects involved in the murder of Zetro Leonardo Purba.

"The police are carrying out various works, including collecting evidence and obtaining surveillance camera records from the crime scene," Mulachela said in a statement here on Thursday.
