Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto highlighted that his administration had achieved various notable feats in global diplomacy, including the reduction of duties imposed on Indonesian products exported to the United States from 32 to 19 percent.

"Indonesia is pursuing its national interests globally. The government, through bilateral negotiations, has succeeded in persuading the United States to lower the rate of tariffs imposed on our products to 19 percent from 32 percent," he said.

The president raised the topic in his speech on the 2026 State Budget Bill and Financial Notes at a plenary session of the House of Representatives (DPR) in the Nusantara Building of the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Friday.
