Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined program of reform centered on digital transformation, investment modernization, global connectivity, and institutional renewal.

According to a press release from the Kazakhstani Embassy in Indonesia on Thursday, the Head of State made the announcement during his annual state-of-the-nation address titled "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Key Tasks and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation."

President Tokayev announced the creation of a new Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, which will be headed by a Deputy Prime Minister-level specialist.
