Jakarta, Jan. 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto said the government is targeting 82 million beneficiaries of the Free Nutritional Meal Program, known as MBG, by the end of 2026.

Speaking at the inauguration of 166 Sekolah Rakyat schools in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, on Monday, the president stated that the MBG program had reached 58 million beneficiaries as of January 12.

"Today, the MBG program has reached 58 million people. Children, pregnant women, and the elderly receive nutritious meals every day," Prabowo said during an online meeting monitored by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta.
