Jakarta, Sept. 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto's participation in the 80th UN General Assembly marks Indonesia's return to the highest level of global diplomacy, Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya said on Saturday.

In a post on the official @sekretariat.kabinet Instagram account, Teddy announced that Prabowo had departed for New York to attend the UN General Assembly at its headquarters.

According to the official schedule, the head of state is set to address the UN General Debate on September 23, speaking third after the Presidents of Brazil and the United States.
