Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto has emphasized that rice and rice milling are vital components of the nation's food security and directly impact the livelihood of millions of Indonesians.

"I want to ask: is rice important for the country or not? Does it affect the livelihood of the people or not? Are rice mills important for the country?
