Jakarta, June 6 -- President Prabowo Subianto invited all members of the Indonesian football team to a luncheon at his private residence in Jakarta on Friday, according to chairperson of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir.

He said that the President's affection for the players, coaches, and officials was evident in his initiative to host the gathering at home rather than at the Presidential Palace.

"Mr. President treated the team like family, recognizing their struggle for our country. He appreciated their efforts," Thohir told the media in the courtyard of Prabowo's residence after attending the event on Friday.
