Jakarta, May 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto will receive the state decoration "The Most Esteemed Family Order of Laila Utama" from Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah during his state visit to the country on Wednesday.

According to Yusuf Permana, deputy for protocol, press, and media in the Presidential Secretariat, the president is scheduled to receive the award from the sultan in a ceremony at the Nurul Iman Palace in Bandar Seri Begawan.

"The state decoration of Brunei Darussalam is bestowed by the Brunei Sultan as their utmost respect to heads of state and global leaders deemed to have contributed to advancing bilateral relations with Brunei Darussalam," Permana stated.
