Bekasi, W Java, Nov. 17 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said on Monday that roughly 173,000 schools nationwide have received interactive flat panels (IFPs) as part of a national push to digitalize classrooms and narrow education gaps across the archipelago.
He said the Learning Digitalization for Smart Indonesia program had made significant progress and marked an important milestone in efforts to strengthen education quality.
The launch was held at State Junior High School 4 in Bekasi, West Java.
Prabowo said the smartboard rollout represented a strong start to ensuring students across Indonesia gain access to modern learning tools, regardless of location.
