Jakarta, Feb. 5 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that 22 of the 66 Regional General Hospitals (RSUD) under President Prabowo Subianto's directive program will be completed and operational by March or April 2026.

"We will report that, God willing, 16 hospitals will be completed by the end of February, and 22 will be completed by March or April," he said in Jakarta on Thursday.

Sadikin explained that construction of 20 RSUDs has been approved for 2026, while the remaining 24 will be built in 2027.

"About 16 are currently ready by the end of February, so the remaining six are expected to be completed between March and April," he added.
