Jakarta, Nov. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto was awarded the "Bejeweled Grand Cordon Al-Nahda," Jordan's highest honor, by King Abdullah II at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday.

The prestigious award, usually reserved for kings, princes, heads of state, and occasionally prime ministers, recognizes extraordinary contributions at national, regional, or international levels, including those by civilians and military personnel.

During the ceremony, King Abdullah II draped the medal over President Prabowo's right shoulder.

The two leaders then shook hands and embraced, marking a moment of mutual respect and friendship.
