Banjarbaru, Aug. 8 -- Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq stated that President Prabowo Subianto has shown great attention and appreciation for the Forest and Land Fire Task Force, which is currently working to address the disaster in various regions.

"Some time ago, the president summoned the ministers to a forest and land fire coordination meeting. He was proud of the work of the regional task force," Nurofiq remarked during a working visit here on Thursday.

During a working visit to South Kalimantan Province, the minister conveyed several points and directions from the president to be forwarded to the task force in the regions in dealing with land fires.
