Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto has ordered the installation of air ambulance equipment in the newly delivered A400M A-4001 transport aircraft to enhance its capability for search and rescue and disaster response missions.

"I have requested the procurement of an air ambulance module for the A400M, also for equipment to deal with forest fires," Prabowo said after inspecting the A400M A-4001 at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Monday.

He expressed confidence that the aircraft would strengthen Indonesia's air defenses, particularly in humanitarian operations and disaster mitigation.
