Jakarta, July 23 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, on Wednesday morning, inaugurated two thousand young officers graduating from military and police academies during the Prasetya Perwira oath-taking ceremony held in the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.
Of these two thousand new officers, 827 are set to serve in the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD), 433 in the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL), 293 in the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU), and 447 in the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
During the ceremony, Prabowo also conferred the Adhi Makayasa insignia of honor on eight graduates with outstanding achievements from each academy.
