Jakarta, Sept. 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto's latest international visit has begun, with his first stop being New York for the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
The president, along with his entourage, took off from Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield on Friday at 11:37 p.m. Jakarta time.
Foreign Minister Sugiono, who joined the president's entourage, confirmed before departing with the president that they will have a stopover in Japan before continuing the flight to New York.
"He will have a stopover in Japan's Osaka to visit the Indonesian Pavilion at the Osaka Expo," Sugiono told a presser at the airfield.
