Jakarta, June 15 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto departed Jakarta for an official visit to Singapore on Sunday afternoon.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka saw off the president and his delegation at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base at around 6:20 p.m. local time, according to an official statement.

On Monday, Prabowo is scheduled to attend several high-level engagements, including a state reception and a bilateral meeting with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at Parliament House.
