Jakarta, Feb. 18 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for talks with US business leaders, a Gaza peace summit and a planned bilateral meeting with President Donald Trump.

Prabowo landed at about 12 p.m. local time after a Garuda Indonesia PK-GIF aircraft touched down at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George's County, Md.

He was welcomed near the aircraft stairs by Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo, and Indonesian Defense Attache Air Marshal E. Wisoko Aribowo.

During his US visit, Prabowo is scheduled to meet American business groups on Wednesday, attend the inaugural Gaza Board of Peace summit on Thursday and hold bilateral talks with Trump.
