Jakarta, Feb. 5 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday inaugurated former Bank Indonesia deputy governor Juda Agung as the new deputy finance minister in the oath-taking ceremony at the State Palace, Jakarta.

He replaces Thomas Djiwandono, who will succeed him as the central bank's new deputy governor.

Agung's inauguration was based on Presidential Decree No.3M of 2026 on the dismissal and appointment of the Deputy Finance Minister, inked by President Prabowo on February 5, 2026.

President Prabowo guided Agung to recite his oath of office.

"In the name of God, I vow to fulfill my responsibilities to the best extent in a fair and just manner and to uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia," the pledge read.
