Palu, June 7 -- The Central Sulawesi government said a sacrificial cow for Eid al-Adha 1446H from President Prabowo Subianto was distributed to survivors of the 2018 earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction, who are currently living in Talise village, Palu city.

Governor Anwar Hafid directly handed over one of the President's cows to the Nurul Yaqin Mosque to be slaughtered before distributed to underprivileged residents who remain affected by the Palu disaster.

Hafid on Saturday explained that Talise village was picked as one of the locations for the distribution of the sacrificial meat since it is still home to hundreds of survivors of the 2018 disaster who have not received permanent housing.
