Jakarta, June 2 -- President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that his efforts to eradicate corruption are aimed at building a clean government, particularly for the younger generation who will inherit the nation.

President Subianto made this statement during his speech at the commemoration ceremony for Pancasila Day, held at the Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jakarta, on Monday.

"We are the generation that will soon have to step off the podium. What we are doing is solely for our children and grandchildren. We are now fighting corruption so that you (the next generation) can take over a country that is strong and in good condition," he affirmed.
