Jakarta, June 5 -- Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Riza Patria noted that President Prabowo Subianto initiated the establishment of Red and White Village Cooperatives to advance the businesses of village communities.

"The president wants people's businesses to advance, not just big companies in villages," he stated at the launch and dialogue during village deliberations for the village cooperatives' establishment in Sofifi, North Maluku, on Wednesday, according to a statement.
