Jakarta, July 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, accompanied by Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, departed for Saudi Arabia on an official visit to discuss the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage.
"The agenda for this visit includes talks on a plan to develop a village for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in Mecca," Umar stated before departing from Jakarta on Tuesday.
The minister emphasized the urgency of executing the plan, noting that Indonesia sends a large number of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to Saudi Arabia every year.
