Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was the only head of state to hold a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Board of Peace agenda in Washington, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said.
More than 15 heads of state and government attended the event on Thursday, but Prabowo was the sole leader granted a one-on-one bilateral session with Trump, Teddy told reporters at the Four Seasons hotel in Washington on Friday.
During the meeting, Indonesia and the United States signed a trade agreement setting reciprocal tariffs of 19 percent on Indonesian imports, he said.
"The agreed rate is 19 percent. Last year it was 32 percent, now it has been reduced to 19 percent," Teddy said.
