Bogor, West Java, Feb. 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto, on Wednesday, welcomed the state visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Bogor Presidential Palace in West Java.

President Erdogan and his entourage arrived at the Bogor Palace at 11:25 a.m. local time and were welcomed by President Prabowo.

The two leaders immediately proceeded with the welcome ceremony, with the national anthems of the two countries played, accompanied by the 21-gun salute.

The Turkish president was welcomed by 75 personnel of the cavalry troops, marking the 75th anniversary of Indonesia-Turkey diplomatic relations.

While President Prabowo was seen in a dark grey suit, President Erdogan wore a dark blue suit for the occasion.
