Jakarta, Nov. 27 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday hosted Queen Maxima of the Netherlands at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, opening a visit focused on advancing global financial inclusion in her role as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.

The Dutch monarch is in Indonesia to promote broader access to financial services as part of her mandate for the United Nations.

Queen Maxima's motorcade arrived at the palace around noon, escorted by five motorcycle outriders.

Prabowo, dressed in a gray suit and traditional cap, greeted the queen as she stepped out of her vehicle in a red outfit at the palace's west veranda.
