Jakarta, Nov. 11 -- President Prabowo Subianto departed for Sydney, Australia, from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on Tuesday to meet with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

"President Prabowo is departing for Sydney for a tete-a-tete with Prime Minister Albanese," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said.

During the one-day visit, the head of state is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Albanese and attend a state ceremony hosted by Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn. Prabowo will also take part in several other meetings focusing on cooperation in trade, investment, education, and industrial partnerships.
