Jakarta, Feb. 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto called on the 961 newly inaugurated regional leaders, elected during last year's simultaneous local elections, to get ready to participate in a retreat planned at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java.

The leaders comprised governors, mayors, district heads, as well as their deputies.

Speaking after a simultaneous induction ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, Prabowo expressed hope that the new local leaders would be able to partake in all activities featured in the retreat, scheduled for February 21-28.
