Bandung, West Java, Aug. 7 -- President Prabowo Subianto has called on Indonesian scientists to collaborate in advancing national industrial research and developing innovations that improve public welfare, a senior official said on Thursday.

According to Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, the president encouraged researchers not to be discouraged by the challenges involved in building large-scale manufacturing industries, such as vehicles, electronics, and semiconductors.
