Jakarta, June 16 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reiterated his call for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, as well as de-escalation of the recent conflict between Israel and Iran.

He emphasized Indonesia's active stance towards global peace during the Leaders' Retreat with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

"We emphasize the importance of a peaceful resolution through negotiations and call for an immediate ceasefire," Prabowo remarked at the Parliament House, Singapore, on Monday.
