Jakarta, Feb. 28 -- President Prabowo Subianto conveyed a message to Muslims in Indonesia to maintain calm and solemnity while fasting during the holy month of Ramadan 1446H/2025.

The message was delivered before the Ministry of Religious Affairs' isbat (confirmation with argument and evidence) session to determine the start and end dates of Ramadan.

Muslims are expected to adhere to this decision as a guide for initiating their fast.

"I would like to wish all Muslims who carry out the Ramadan fasting well, and I also seek forgiveness for any wrongdoings, outward and inward," Prabowo stated here on Friday.

The president hopes that Muslims will observe this holy month to increase their worship and get closer to Allah.
