Jakarta, Feb. 11 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will make a state visit to the United States in mid-February to sign a reciprocal tariff agreement and attend the inaugural Board of Peace (BoP) summit, an official said.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto confirmed Wednesday that Prabowo is expected to attend the BoP event on February 19, while also finalizing the long-negotiated tariff deal with Washington.

Hartarto noted that Indonesia currently faces a 19 percent import tariff from the US, reduced from 32 percent in earlier rounds of talks.

"We are waiting for the draft deal to be completed 100 percent," he said.
