Jakarta, Dec. 31 -- President Prabowo Subianto is set to welcome the New Year alongside disaster-affected residents in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, with a visit to the Batu Hula refugee camp in Batang Toru, highlighting his administration's focus on post-disaster recovery.

"On New Year's Eve, the President will stay overnight here in South Tapanuli. He may have dinner with local residents, exchange greetings, and watch a film together using a mobile cinema," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in South Tapanuli on Wednesday.
