Bogor, West Java, Feb. 2 -- President Prabowo Subianto said he will soon launch the Indonesia ASRI movement, a nationwide initiative aimed at creating safer, cleaner and more attractive environments as part of efforts to improve public welfare and tourism appeal.

Opening the 2026 National Coordination Meeting of central and regional governments in Bogor, West Java, on Monday, Prabowo said ASRI stands for safe, healthy, clean, and beautiful ( aman, sehat, bersih, indah) , reflecting practical goals for daily governance.

He said the movement would prioritise visible improvements on the ground, including environmental cleanliness and better management of public spaces, to enhance quality of life and attract foreign tourists to Indonesia. ...
