Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto conveyed support for Brazil's leadership at the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belem, Brazil, in November 2025.

He would also send Hashim Djojohadikusumo, his younger brother, to lead the Indonesian delegation at the conference.

During a joint statement at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday, Prabowo also apologized directly to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for his absence from the high-level climate and environment meeting.
