St. Petersburg, June 21 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto highlighted several achievements from his first seven months in office, including increased food production, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025.

"In my seven months of administration, we have achieved an increase in rice and corn production of around 50 percent," Prabowo noted in his speech at the event, held in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Friday.

He noted that the rise in rice and corn production was the largest aggregate increase in the history of the Republic of Indonesia.

In addition, the president revealed that currently, rice reserves in government warehouses stood at 4.4 million tons, marking the highest level in the nation's history.
