Jakarta, April 9 -- President Prabowo Subianto embarked on a five-nation Middle East tour, Wednesday, to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan, seeking support for Indonesia's plan to evacuate one thousand Palestinians to Indonesia.

Prabowo said Indonesia would execute its plan with consent from all parties, including countries actively helping the Palestinians in Gaza.

"The first condition is to gain approval from all parties. Those Palestinians will only be here temporarily until they recover. Once the condition in Gaza is stable, they must return. Therefore, I must consult with leaders of the regions," he remarked.
