Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- President Prabowo Subianto expressed hope that the Free Health Screening (CKG) program would reach at least 20 million beneficiaries by August 17, coinciding with Indonesia's Independence Day commemoration.

After meeting with the President at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin reported that the president was pleased that the free health screening program had covered 17 million beneficiaries so far.

In addition to the CKG program, Minister Sadikin reported that the construction of hospitals in remote areas is also a key focus.
