Jakarta, Dec. 12 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto secured a string of health, agriculture and technology agreements during a quick trip to Pakistan and Russia this week, officials said Friday.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the visit followed Prabowo's inspection of flood-hit Aceh earlier in the week. The president completed his overseas agenda on December 10 before returning to Indonesia.

In Islamabad, Prabowo was welcomed by both Pakistan's president and prime minister and held a series of high-level meetings.

The talks produced seven new cooperation agreements covering health, agriculture, trade, the economy, research, science and technology, Teddy said.
