Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- President Prabowo Subianto said administrative forestry fines and recovered state funds worth Rp6.62 trillion (about U$395 million) could finance the construction of at least 100,000 permanent housing unit for flood victims in Aceh and Sumatra.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta, Prabowo said the forestry fines that handed over by the Attorney General's Office, collected from 20 palm oil companies, represented only a small example of the country's actual losses, which he said are far greater.
